Manimma: August 2018

Chandru Perippa passed away last month.. in the words of Durga Akka and others, he lived a full, contented life. Some photos from past years are attached below:

We did not visit in 2007 or 2008 (Kamakshi was born) or 2013 (the year Sharada was born). Ambi Anna sent me some photos from Manimma's 80th birthday celebrations in Nov 2008, and I have included 2 of those.

We did not visit 2007 or 2008 (when Kamakshi was born). We did visit 2009 summer, but surprisingly, I can't find any photos from that trip. The next 2 photos were taken during Appa's 80th birthday celebration (Dec 27, 2010) in the Gandhi Nagar Club, Adyar.

I visited briefly (for a week) in 2012 (when Appa was hospitalized, no photos), and did not visit in 2013 (Sharada was born). I have one photo from our trip in summer of 2014 (the year we took Sharada to Gunaseelam for mottai).
