I got this small piece of artwork that Manimma did from Neela Akka when we visited them in NYC. Thanks Neela Akka !
Neela Akka told me that this was an exquisite piece, in that it was so intricate that one couldn't distinguish the front from the back. She also told me about Manimma's knitting, that she could knit intricate patterns on sweaters just be having seen them before, without having to look at instructions/stitching patterns in a book or on a chart..
